WEST COVINA, CA—North-West College becomes the first career college in Southern California to offer scholarships for career training in health care. While scholarships are common in most four year university systems, North-West College has now made it possible for career college students to also have access to scholarship awards. The College has established itself as a trailblazer by rewarding students with scholarships based on a variety of criteria.
North-West College offers a variety of scholarships including: First Time College Attendee Scholarship, Hispanic Student Scholarship, African American Student Scholarship, Asian and Pacific Islander Scholarship, Native American Scholarship, Single Parent Scholarship, Professional Women’s Scholarship, Professional Men’s Scholarship, Leadership and Armed Forces Scholarship, Future in Nursing Scholarship, Moms in Healthcare Scholarship, Entrepreneur Scholarship, Healthcare Provider Scholarship, Health Care Administrator Scholarship, and Build a Better Future Scholarship. Each scholarship recipient will receive an award of $2,500. The selection criteria for these scholarship awards will not be contingent upon high school grades.
