North-West College (NWC) to Offer Dental Assistant Program at Riverside Campus
Program Demonstrates Ongoing Commitment to Providing Quality Education
RIVERSIDE, Calif.—Preparations are underway as North-West College (NWC) brings the Dental Assistant Program to its Riverside Campus for the first time. Construction on a new dental laboratory and classroom is already in process and will enable NWC Riverside to provide students the same dynamic learning environment the College is known for.
“Expanding our Dental Program to the College’s Riverside Campus meets a growing demand in the community for quality dental training,” explained Chief Strategy Officer Serjik Kesachekian. “We are excited to be able to offer another training option for individuals hoping to enter the dental field.”
Dental Assistants work with dentists and other dental health professionals to complete routine tasks in the dental office, freeing up dentists to see more patients and address complex procedures. The need for well-trained Dental Assistants is greater than ever as the number of dental offices continues to grow to meet increasing demands for preventive dental services. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the profession is projected to grow 18 percent from 2014–24—at a much higher rate than the average occupation.
“Adding the Dental Assistant Program to our Riverside location is yet another way North-West College continues to address the need for well-trained Dental Assistants,” Kesachekian shared. “Students who choose NWC’s Dental Assistant Program will not only benefit from the College’s relevant instruction, but will also receive practical, hands-on training that will equip them to succeed in the World of Work.”
Classes for NWC Riverside’s Dental Assistant Program are slated to launch this summer. Interested in learning more about the Dental Assistant Program or about North-West College? Please contact Nancy Aguillon at NancyA@success.edu for more information today!
