Eighteen-Month Program Prepares Students for Entry-Level Positions in Healthcare Administration
WEST COVINA, Calif.—North-West College (NWC) recently expanded its program offerings to include its first academic degree: the Associate of Science in Healthcare Administration. Nationally recognized and accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC), the Associate of Science degree program is now available at the College’s West Covina campus.
“We’re thrilled to be able to offer our first academic degree at North-West College,” said Melissa Reyes, Corporate Director of Education. “The Associate of Science in Healthcare Administration is great for individuals who might already be working in the health care field, but who are hoping to further their career by becoming a medical office manager.”
The program spans 80 weeks and includes 15 courses—all designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills to interact with and manage other employees in an office setting. Individuals graduate prepared to work in hospitals, clinics, medical offices, health maintenance organizations, and other health care institutions.
“This Associate of Science degree is about giving students a leg up, helping them to advance in the health care field,” Reyes explained. “It absolutely fits with North-West College’s commitment to changing lives through quality education and training.”
New classes for the Associate of Science in Healthcare Administration are forming now. To learn more about the program or to enroll, please contact Michelle MacIntyre at MichelleMa@success.edu.
