North-West College Celebrates Its Newest Graduates

Graduation

North-West College and Glendale Career College celebrated as over 270 graduates received their diplomas in various health care programs.

PASADENA, Calif.—On Sunday, October 20th, North-West College and Glendale Career College celebrated as over 270 graduates received their diplomas in various health care programs.

“Instilling a passion for career education in our students by providing high-quality training is our goal,” said North-West College President, Mitchell Fuerst.

This goal is met year after year, as aspiring students from Southern California come to the colleges to acquire the in-demand skill set to launch their careers.

Founded in 1966 by Mrs. Marsha Fuerst, the colleges have commemorated over 45,000 graduates to date, making it one of the top career colleges for career advancement in Southern California.

Dignitaries and proud parents attended the ceremony and watched as students walked the stage, celebrating their entry into the job market as skilled health care professionals. The ceremony itself began with the lovely sounds of Angela Wittaker on the organ, followed by vocalist, Jennifer Hoyt who graced the ears of the graduates and their loved ones with the National Anthem.

Proud keynote speakers included 43rd District Assemblyman Mike Gatto, who has taught English in the Greater L.A. area and worked in the community for many years. Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon Paul S. Nassif, M.D., F.A.C.S. also spoke at the event. Dr. Nassif is affiliated with top hospitals and medical schools in Southern California and is the director of a fellowship training program which instructs young facial plastic surgeons on his innovative surgical techniques. He is also known for his appearance on the hit television show, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

The colleges offer programs in the health care fields of vocational nursing, medical assisting and surgical technology in addition to others. The short-term, intensive programs compare favorably to longer term college programs, making it a great value for students who wish to accelerate their learning in the demanding workforce. All campuses participate in federal and state financial aid programs, which can offer help to students who wish to take their career goals to the next level.
