Glendale Career College has expanded its program offerings this year with the addition of its new program
GLENDALE, CA— Glendale Career College has expanded its program offerings this year with the addition of its new Professional Fitness Trainer Program. Professional Fitness Trainers design workout plans that match the needs of their clients based on the fitness levels, experience and goals of each individual. A Glendale Career College graduate of the Professional Fitness Trainer Program will be prepared to lead, instruct and motivate individuals and groups of all ages in exercise and fitness activities including strength training, stretching, and cardiovascular exercise.
Glendale Career College determined the need for the Professional Fitness Trainer program based on the demand for properly trained and qualified individuals to educate and train people in gaining and maintaining a healthy and fit lifestyle. Today, sedentary lifestyles are on the rise due to time spent in front of computer screens for nine hours a day. As a result, working out has become a necessity for a healthy lifestyle to prevent major diseases.
“I am proud to see the Professional Fitness Training Program launch. It is a great addition to our diversified selection of career training programs,” says Mitchell Fuerst, Glendale Career College President.
Graduates of the Professional Fitness Trainer Program meet the academic eligibility requirements for the following certifications: NASM Certified Personal Trainer, NASM Certified Corrective Exercise Specialist, NASM Certified Fitness Nutrition Specialist, and NASM Certified Senior Fitness Specialist and Youth Exercise Specialist (Lifespan).
In addition to the Professional Fitness Trainer Program, Glendale Career College also offers a variety of other programs including: Surgical Technology, Medical Assistant, Vocational Nursing, Medical Office Specialist, Central Service Instrument Technician (CSIT), and an A.S. degree in Health Administration.
