Two-day Retreat Fosters Collaboration and Innovation Among SEC Team
WEST COVINA, Calif.—Leaders from Success Education Colleges will gather for the organization’s annual President’s Retreat from June 11–12, 2015 in Orange County, Calif. The two-day event provides SEC leadership with the opportunity to focus on team building while gaining insight into the rapidly evolving sector of career education.
“Every year, I look forward to this retreat and the dedicated time it allows for evaluating our progress as an organization and exploring new ways to continue to educate our students for success,” SEC President Mitchell Fuerst said.
Retreat attendees will hear from experts, including Florence Tate, Executive Director of the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES). Formerly the President of Potomac College in Washington, D.C., Tate brings more than 30 years of experience in postsecondary education.
Eight-term U.S. Congressman Steven Gunderson will also address SEC leaders. Gunderson currently serves as the President and CEO of the Association of Private Sector Colleges and Universities (APSCU), of which Success Education Colleges is a member.
In addition, attendees can also expect to hear from Tom Stillwell, CEO of Midnight Oil, an adaptive, full-service entertainment marketing agency based in Los Angeles. Stillwell takes a hands-on approach to his leadership and remains an active member of Midnight Oil’s client management team. His client partnerships include Activision, Disney, Warner Bros, 20th Century Fox, Microsoft/Xbox, and Universal.
“The caliber of these presenters is truly exciting,” Fuerst said, “and it affirms SEC’s position at the leading edge of career education providers.”
