North-West College Now Enrolling for Hybrid Programs
New Format Offers Students a Blend of Online Learning with On-Campus Lab Courses
WEST COVINA, Calif.—Four of North-West College’s (NWC) programs, including the Medical Assistant, Medical Insurance Biller and Coder, Dental Assistant, and Pharmacy Technician programs, are now available in a new hybrid learning format. The programs will combine online instruction with hands-on training time in the lab—providing students the same dynamic learning environment the College is so well known for.
“We are excited to offer this new hybrid format for students looking for more flexibility as they complete their education,” explained NWC Corporate Executive Director of Academic Operations, Brooke Allen. “Our goal is to help as many students as we can grow and thrive in our programs and go on to succeed in their health care careers.”
Students will participate in scheduled, live online lectures for each program and complete additional coursework online outside of class. The hybrid format will also include weekly on-campus laboratory courses—giving students the opportunity to learn relevant skills in a realistic setting. In addition, each program carries approval from the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC), the College’s institutional accreditor.
“For more than five decades, we have transformed lives through quality education here at North-West College,” shared Allen, “and this is yet another way we are continuing to do exactly that. We are grateful to be able to provide our students with these creative learning solutions and make it possible for them to reach their career goals.”
