President Mitchell Fuerst and Vice President Lisa Fuerst Shared with Aspiring Leaders at LEAP Week 2023
Annual Event Aims to Build Life Skills and Confidence Young Adults Need to Succeed
LOS ANGELES, Calif.—LEAP Foundation Co-Founder Dr. Bill Dorfman invited SEC President and Vice President Mitchell and Lisa Fuerst to speak with over 500 students at the foundation’s annual LEAP Week event. Hosted on the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) campus, LEAP Week brings together high school and college students each year for a weeklong motivational and entrepreneurship program.
“We were excited to get to share our story with LEAP students this year,” Fuerst explained. “We know firsthand just how transformative the right encouragement and mentorship can be in the lives of these young people—and we were grateful to get to play a part in inspiring them to strive for success.”
Co-founded 16 years ago by Dr. Bill Dorfman, LEAP offers 15- to 25-year-olds the chance to hear from acclaimed speakers while honing crucial skills in small group settings. Dorfman is well-known for appearing on ABC’s Extreme Makeover and CBS’s The Doctors and has done stellar work in the field of cosmetic dentistry. His heart for seeing young adults thrive was a driving force behind the LEAP Foundation’s inception. LEAP Week offers students a dynamic environment in which to sharpen their entrepreneurship mindset, confidence, networking abilities, time management, communication, and more.
“Every year, LEAP offers a life-changing experience for students,” Fuerst shared. “It was an honor for Lisa and me to get to be part of coaching up the next generation of leaders and thinkers. The heart behind LEAP absolutely echoes our heart here at Success Education Colleges and the work we do every day to give our students the skills they need to succeed.”
