Our Family of Brands
North-West College (NWC)
North-West College was founded in 1966 by Marsha Fuerst. Marsha's family has been involved in the allied health field since the early 1950's. North-West College continues to be owned and operated by the Fuerst Family. The Fuersts' passion for successful career education and a desire to provide high quality relevant training for students is the guiding mission for the College. North-West College is pleased to be recognized as one of the first Vocational Schools in California. We've specialized in helping people find the career that's right for them for over 45 years.
What We Do
We offer curricula that address the occupational needs of the industry, utilize modern equipment, and employ a caring staff of professionals. At North-West College, students study only those career-related subjects necessary to complete training in the shortest possible time. Our commitment to our students continues throughout their training and beyond graduation with career placement assistance. Each campus has many well-equipped classrooms, consisting of laboratories and lecture rooms. In some cases laboratories and lecture rooms are combined. Equipment is chosen so that students will be acquainted with equipment used in the field. Each campus has administrative offices, a student union, restroom facilities, faculty lounge, study spaces, and open labs containing computers and printers (some of which may be in the classrooms themselves). The Colleges are designed to provide optimum learning environments.
